GENERAL CONTRACTOR

Key responsibilities of our company as a general contractor include:
Project Planning: General contractors work closely with clients and architects to understand project requirements, specifications, and design plans. They create a detailed project plan that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and budget.
Subcontractor Management: General contractors often hire and manage subcontractors, who specialize in various trades such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and more. They coordinate the activities of these subcontractors to ensure that the project progresses smoothly.
Budget Management: General contractors are responsible for developing and maintaining a budget for the entire project. They estimate costs, procure materials, and manage expenses to keep the project within the specified budget.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Construction management involves the planning, coordination, and supervision of a construction project from its inception to completion. It’s a critical process that ensures a project is executed efficiently, safely, and within budget and schedule constraints. Construction management can vary based on the size and complexity of the project. It requires a combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and effective communication. Many construction managers have backgrounds in engineering, architecture, or related fields. Additionally, construction management software and tools are often used to aid in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and collaboration.

DESIGN AND BUILD

Design and build combines both the design and construction phases of a project under a single contract. In a traditional project delivery approach, the design phase is completed by one set of professionals, and then the construction phase is awarded to another contractor. However, in the Design and Build approach, a single entity, often referred to as the “Design-Build Contractor” or “Design-Build Firm,” is responsible for both designing and constructing the project.
